We Focus On
Breastfeeding / lactation related issues, which include direct latching assessment, postanatal breast engorgement, mastitis, insufficient breastmilk supply , blocked milk ducts, breast pain, ablactation etc.
We Expand Our TCM Treatments To

Our Journey
Flower Moon TCM was started when our founder’s 1st daughter was born in year 2009. As a 1st time mother, she experienced post natal breast engorgement, confinement myths confusion, postnatal syndromes, and mastitis. Being a mother has been the most natural thing to her until her 1st daughter was born, until she started to struggle along the motherhood. She was a nurse, and a TCM course student. She was ambitious at her work, study and being a breastfeeding mum until her body light up red light for her.
That was the time she had a mastitis. All the symptoms that she had reminded her that she was just caught a cold and GP also thought the same. Panadol for 3 days, her body temperature still ups and downs. Until she found out she was actually having a breast infection. She saw plenty of breast surgeries in operating theater as a periop nurse. The pain and trauma to the breast is the last thing she wants. She turned to her TCM teacher who taught her External TCM (中医外科) for help. She was the 1st patient that her teacher saw in Singapore. “Do you dare to take if I prescribe TCM herbs for you?” After 3 seconds of hesitation, she said as long there is a chance to prevent it from becoming abscess I would like to try. That was how Flower Moon Mastitis Decoction was born. With the amazing clinical result, she was more certain to do more and help more breastfeeding mummies with TCM treatments.
She is a person who will not give up easily once she has made her decision. She started to spend all her annual leave to go different hospitals of places of China to learn how the TCM physicians or acupuncturist do to help with breastfeeding issues and confinement related sickness.

Born in year 2015
Flower Moon Clinic was finally born in year 2015. Physician Shana Shang started to do home visits to help mummies with breastfeeding and postnatal issues after her hospital work and during weekends.
Born in year 2016
After 1 year, in year 2016, there are more and more patients need her, to make it more efficient and save time in travelling, the 1st Flower Moon Clinic was physically had her home at Jalan Pelikat. It was a quiet and peaceful place, mummies came through word of mouth,‘’酒香不怕巷子深‘’,but still it gave quite some difficulties to mummies who 1st visit the clinic.
Born in year 2019
Flower Moon clinic moved to Roayal Square Medical Center at Novena Health City in Year 2019, and expanded to Novena Specialist Center in year 2021.
